Creams from the Doctor and Pharmacist
The idea for the Quivia cream formulations came from Dr. C. D. Nguyen-Petersen from Cologne. He discovered that many aging symptoms of the skin are related to the fact that over time the skin loses its ability to supply itself with sufficient urea. He then worked on suitable formulations to replenish the missing urea in the right amount. Dr. Petersen worked closely with Dr. Gerd Wolf, a pharmacist from Grafschaft (sadly passed away on September 20, 2014), who is known for his detailed knowledge of cosmetic formulations and has provided valuable tips on the correct preparation of cream formulations in various online forums. Among other things, Dr. Wolf is the author of the book"Rezepturen: Probleme erkennen, lösen, vermeiden" (Recipes: Recognize, Solve, Avoid Problems), published by Deutscher Apotheker Verlag.
